List of current prices and fees

Hyre should be a safe and reliable service that offers car sharing at a reasonable price for our renters. The fees and outlay rules below are intended to make a safe and reliable platform for our customers. Read our terms and conditions here.

• Rental time prices are automatically calculated per started hour, started day, etc. Hyre automatically calculates the lowest total price for the renter (e.g. you pay a daily rate as soon as this is cheaper than a high number of hourly rates).
• Insurance is included in the agreement between the Renter and Hyre and applies to registered drivers. The excess in the event of damage is limited to 9,000 SEK.
• A reduction in the deductible can be purchased by reserving a car for an extra 100 SEK per day or part thereof. The deductible is then reduced from 9,000 SEK to 2,000 SEK.
• Extra drivers can be registered free of charge on rentals. The additional driver must be a registered Hyre user with a verified driving license.

Fuel

The fuel cost is calculated automatically. We calculate the number of liters in the tank before and after the rental period. If you deliver the car with a lower fuel level than when you picked it up, you will be charged a price per liter that is missing. If you deliver the car with a higher fuel level, you will instead receive a discount per extra liter.

You can see the current fuel prices in the app when you book. If the discount is greater than the total rental price, you'll receive a discount voucher on your Hyre user that you can use at a later date.

Cancellation and changes

We encourage our renters to notify us well in advance if they need to cancel a rental in order to cause as little friction as possible for the other party. In case of cancellation, the following rules and fees apply.

• After the rental has started: the renter must pay the full price
• Cancellation of reservation less than one hour after booking and more than 24 hours before the reservation starts: no fee
• Cancellation more than one hour after booking and less than 24 hours before the reservation starts: the renter pays half the rental price

Other fees

• Invoice fee: If charges are not settled by credit card withdrawal, an invoice will be sent out after 7 attempts at credit card withdrawal. An invoice fee of 9 SEK will then be added.
• Fee for re-invoicing: 200 SEK. The fee is in addition to the invoice fee and applies, for example, to re-invoicing of parking, fines and other costs that the renter must pay.
• Late return of car after reservation or late extension of rental period: 500 SEK per commenced hour in addition to the extra rental time.
• Incorrect delivery of car: 750 SEK (+ cost of moving the car). If a Renter delivers the car somewhere other than the car's parking space, the Renter will be charged a fee in addition to the cost of moving the car back to its parking space.
• Failure to clean the car: Failure to clean a soiled vehicle will result in a charge of 600 SEK, in addition to the cost of washing where necessary.
• Cleaning fee for smoke odor in the vehicle: 3,000 SEK.
• Failure to charge electric car: 600 SEK. Upon delivery of an electric car, the Renter must ensure that the car is charging. Failure to charge the car may result in the next user of the car not having their reasonable expectation of the car's range met.
• Failure to report damage: 2,500 SEK (+ cost of repair or deductible). In the event of damage to a vehicle, the Renter must contact Hyre immediately. If damage to a vehicle is discovered after a rental period without this being reported, the Renter will be charged a fee in addition to the cost of repair or excess.

Charges for careless handling of the vehicle, including accessories, decoration and other

• Lost or damaged charging cable for electric car: 3,000 SEK
• Lost or damaged car key: 5,000 SEK
• Car towed away by the police or municipality: 1,350 SEK + the actual cost of towing
• Charging a car with a discharged 12V battery if the car is left with the lights on during or after the rental period: 750 SEK
• Car has run out of power or fuel: 3,000 SEK
• Hyre foil/decoration on car removed: 8,750 SEK
