Hyre was founded in 2018 and is now one of the largest car-sharing companies in the Nordics, with more than 2,000 cars in its fleet. The company is a collaboration between Møller Mobility Group and Hyre Management, with Møller Mobility Group being the largest shareholder.

You only need our app to book a car, unlock it, and pay for the rental. Gone are the days of standing in boring queues to pick up a car. Tolls, fuel/charging, and rental prices are automatically calculated in real-time, allowing you to always have complete oversight and saving you time on managing various expenses.
Our vehicles are always available, and our goal is to ensure you are never more than 5 minutes away from a car. The fleet is owned and managed by Hyre, giving us total control over the customer journey to ensure predictable and safe access to modern cars at competitive prices.

We love new technology and the opportunities it provides to create fantastic customer experiences, and we willingly challenge the status quo. Our various platforms are built and developed by our brilliant employees, allowing us to act faster and more flexibly than anyone else. We currently have 40 tech enthusiasts working across Norway, Sweden, and Denmark.
Cars are now connected to the internet, making car-sharing much simpler. More and more vehicles are electric, and in the future, they will be self-driving.
Cars are no longer an important status symbol, and fewer young adults today want to own a car. People desire simplicity, flexibility, and freedom.
The way we travel today is not sustainable. Even with electric vehicles, urban densification in our largest cities will necessitate alternative solutions for personal transportation.
